hi people c",) it's been almost a month since i first asked for your help in making my own theme c",) it took me a while to actually get the hang of theme making c",) i still have a looooooooooooooong way to go c",)

i finally finished two themes, wolverine and ironman c",) i uploaded the wolverine but later fixed a couple of icons (and whatever else i could get my hands on) and uploaded a second file, wolverine 2 c",) hope it's the one that got posted oin the downloads section c",)

my problem is with the new iron man theme c",) it ate up 350 kb as a sis file and 540 kb once i installed it in my phone c",) too big to upload c",)

hope someone can tell me which parts of a theme eats so much space so i could trim it down to a more uploadable 250-300 kb c",)

does scaling down an image using the theme studio insted of going through photoshop make the file bigger? (compared to first resizing the image on photoshop before putting it in the actual theme)

thanks again c",)

attached some screenshots c",) comments and suggestions pls c",) pls c",) thanks! c",)

it's usually the icons, that take up a lot of space,
most of the other parts are onlu in bmp, so they all take the same amount of space, the icons differe alot depending on what they are, and how big they are also.

took out the icons - still too big 311kb

took out some backgrounds - still slightly too big 302kb

took out more artwork - 274kb yahoo!

but not that happy coz i spent a lot of time with the icons

too bad they didn't make the final version

kept the bulky original file though c",) look for a place to post it just in case someone wants that complete version

so here it is, my second theme! presenting for everyone's suggestions, comments, and violent reactions c",) IMv3

finally solved the problem of having too large a file, just save the images in the lowest reolution possible c",) stupid me!

still looks good on the phone c",)

from an image that originally ate 108kb down to around 30kb c",)

hmm, i wonder what happened to the other themes i submitted? i guess they just weren't good enough

i hope someone tells me what i did wrong so i could rectify the mistake c",) (about the themes gundamwing and tallgeese) thanks a bunch c",) much appreciated!
