I have lots and lots of data on my Photobucket account, and I can transfwer all thatstuff easily if this feature is brought in. And many others agree with me

Secondly, Skins for The IPB board, would certainly be refreshing

It would be better if u add a search option of search by name for searching a particular member. Because it is very difficult to find the homesite of a member if it is not given in its profile.

I was thinking that please add a thread to the motorola section or the skins section having the topic "Skin Manager not able to detect phone." I know its there in the problems connecting to the p2k programs but most of the ppl don't get that hence they keep asking again and again. I hope u give some thought to this.

under profiles, i suggest that the phone list be updated [if possible] if not make it user defined instead of a drop down that way you can change your profile with ease.

I think Members of a Group should be able to use the pm service without having 200 posts.
Because it's important for members to communicate without discussing some things in the forum.
For example I can't give Thomas_Sweden my e-mail adress without shoving it in a shoutbox or in the whole forum in a thread.

Being a new member, I noticed that my own phone was not listed. It's a T-Mobile MDA.

I'd be almost as happy to be able to select any other Windows Mobile O/S phone.

My opinion would be create a system to upload faster, for example, everytime i upload files i upload about 25 to 50 and a take a long time to upload one by one... My idea was, use a similar system to yahoo mail attachments on the emails, we select the files and then it uploads all at once.

The other one would be to create new rankings because im getting closer to the limit and other users are already there!!!

Did you guys know that you can rightclick and save image on the screensaver pages? You could write a java script to disable rightclicking on images thus eliminating this just a thought to keep the download counts correct not really a big deal tho! BTW the multi upload Would be nice... good idea luisleal!!

Yeah we know, you could easily disable javascript or look at the source to get the file that way though (although would stop people that did not know about the download button). I thought the previews had mobile9 wallmarks on them though

I think it would be nice for members to be able to delete and/or edit thier uploads in case of double uploads or old/out of date uploads? (of corse the edited ones would have to go through validation again) For example I uploaded doubles of some files (because lack of sleep... oops!) and would like to remove them... and yeah I guess your right about the right click thing Vinnieza but I don't get wallmarks on the previews! (using NS 8.1.2 with Firefox engine) You guys could write the whole preview page as a java popup but that would really be time consuming and stop some people from using the site Anyways like I said it isn't really a big deal!! I mean we put these files up to share so who cares how people get them right? PS: keep up the good work tho guys this site rocks!!

I d have some looks to the new K800i themes and had bee heavely desapointed to
see that in the FEATURED BOX recently had been entered some theme which are
everything else but deserving to be in this Category.

I m not reproching the nudity or even, almost the porn subjects***

but, I m talking about the themes itseves.

- They are some others themes theming such some same style... womans bodies,
chests and another nudity, but the guys had make some efforts more or less,

and had made the theme elements enough respectfulls to be called, highlights, or
popuptitles, or softkeys... or else...

- Which I m talking about is that the themes in question had nothig like that,
I will be more precise and would say that these themes are not themes at all...

I d say they are nothing... just some picture assembled on one place and uploaded
as a theme...

- And I am not reproching their upload, and their appearence on the Site.
WHICH I DO, is that they are appearing as FEATURED THEMES !

Because I expect anything but that in the Featured Themes !

and because the themes like that in the Featured Box I m certain are ruining the
Site and The Featured Themes REPUTATION.

Yes,m i agree with you, that we should apply some rules, which are the Following,
- File Size should be mentioned
- Length of the ring-tone

& i think that we should not restrict the ring-tone to be of 28 seconds, because if you consider the capacity of the Mobile Phones, then there is a fact that 95% of the cell phones at least have 8MB of total space in it excluding the capacity of MMC.



One more thing, while playing a ring tone, this the best way that when a call come and its been missed after 42 seconds (GSM 800/1800/1900 - Standard ) ; a ring-tone cant be repeated. i hope that you will consider this fact also.

well i disagree with the M9 Messenger, due to the following reasons,
- When ever any M9er face problem, that is being known to every one,
- In M9 messenger that will be obsoleted
- what will happen of the points which you gain from FOURM participation

Themes....



Mostly M9 users initially download theme to PC & then transfer it to mobile, while a user downloads 50 themes in 10 or 50 days,its very difficult for him to remember the preview of the theme...... so why not we should make it more better to give him the facility to download the preview also so that he can transfer the desired file to his/her cell phone.....

@zeefix, i thought ringtones repeated if the call was still being made, e.g. a 5 second ringtone will continue to repeat for the duration of the call.

Usually phones go to answer phone after 30 seconds (not sure about the 42 one). However, still due to copyright they cannot be above 30 seconds, any in the gallery above this should not technically be there

Well i do accept the Technical side,
cuz i was talking in the scenario that if a person does not pick the call, then a ringtone cant be repeated, normally in 95% cases a call is being picked up around 20 to 25 seconds
have you seen my recent uploaded ringtones, in those ring tones i have mentioned the size and play back time cuz it will be convenient for users

We all read every suggestion in this thread (as you can see as it took me 30 mins to respond) by our members and take them seriously .

I agree, a new skin would be nice, and I'd be surprised if we didn't get one once the site's skeleton has been programmed.

I've got an idea - about new members when registering: disable the use of ./()%&@ and other similar symbols, just use numbers, letters (english alphabet) and dash and what is also standard... obviously a lot of people don't have any imagination so they use either their emails or their webpages... and that they can't access their homesites...

i like most of the ideas posted. M9 messenger, ratings and comments, multiple downloads.

how about update CP twice a week? also only validate applications that work, and delete nonworking apps. ive downloaded at least 10 apps. that start to work then go into error mode

Easier said than done. I think the chief admin would like to do this but he has reasons not to at this point in time otherwise he would have.

I prefer Invision (going on user interface) tbh, but that's because most the forums i've been on use it, haven't really used vb so can't really say though.

Here's anonether idea - size checking whe approving the themes (the one who validates them, since already the ringtones for example are checked by name), can it be done that themes are checked by size (I guess those who steal it/upload it under there name don't/can't make changes on it)...which means the 2 themes are identical in a 1 byte size... this would notifiy the validating team, and they would take a closer look on the theme that has the same size as some other already uploaded... And what's the chance that 2 themes are identical in 1 byte... I know this would slow down the validating process (probably by 50%), but at least I believe this way the stealing themes (and reuploading on the same site) would be blocked... Vince, I know I talked about this before with you, what do you think?

dont think it would work a lot of theme are the same size easiest way is just to check on names of know uploads who have been stealing theme and check any theme your not sure on

what about an option for erasing,closing,deleting,etc. an account?

think once someone's account is closed it can be reopen so would be best to leave this to admin on request

hmm..we are all adults..but maybe ur right..emotions sometimes gets to a person making him doing hasty things is there any list of admins?

another thing-when you click on someones profile in the forum and go to his/hers profile,there should be a link to that persons homesite
