s40 nokia phones with Firmware V 3.81 themes need to be made with theme studio 2.2 any theme made with 2.1 will have a blue boarder on the top and bottom of main screen any one upload theme made with 2.2 pls put in the description fw v 3.81

One additional question concerning Theme Studio 2.2:
Let's say I use a 240x320 pixels picture for
Idle Screen >> "Wallpaper main"
and then I use transparent PNGs for
Idle Screen >> Background ("idle status area")
and
Idle Screen >> Background ("idle softkey area").
Will then the wallpaper be seen completely on the newer phones with firmware 3.81 or would there be blue bars on top and bottom, too?

read the user guide that comes with theme studio it really tell you every thing you need to know and get paint shop pro then read throw the forum you will find a lot of tips in here for theme from sony themes and s60 all tips can be used on s40 then post your themes in the forum and people will give you advice on them in future post a new topic so people will see it easier

I'm nearly despairing...i'm new in here and i would like to make themes for my nokia 7390 on my own.

so i downloaded the nokia theme studio 2.2 for nokia s40, gimp for scaling the pictures and also irfanview for making thumbnails.

so far...so good

but there are alsways this blue boarders on the idle screen and i don't know how to get rid of them.

please help me!
