Hi guys,

I bought an in car charger off ebay for the K800i, it has never worked, when i plug it into my K800i it says there is a charging error and to disconnect immediately.

The thing is the charger has a sticker on the side saying K750...

Are the chargers compatible between phones?

i have just studied another advert from a different seller and they specify different outputs for the two different chargers,

i emailed the original seller who said i just need to plug it in properly...

on the bright side it only cost 1p and they sent two instead of one lol

if they specify different outputs it wont be compatible

LOL. You can't complain for 1p. Did that also include free P&P?

Anyway, the charger should work for both the K800i and also for the K750i.

Sony Ericsson's website verifies this.

All that matters is that as long as the output voltage is the same (4.9 Volts DC) then a small variation in the current mAh shouldn't make a difference. The genuine charger is at 450 mAh. The difference in mAh dictates how quickly the battery will charge up.

yeah, thats my thinking, it was a different seller tho where i noticed it...

K800 - Output: DC 3-15V (Max)
K750 - Output: Max 5.2VDC … 580mA
