i get pretty bored at night and i'm willing to try my luck at making these ringtones since i have soundforge and other music editors on my computer. so if anyone have some request i would love to help you out and give you what you want, as expert might be busy with all the work keeping these forums up and running and making themes so if anyone has some request i say lets get this part of the forum up and rocking as i'm a ringtone guru and love having them on my 128mb duo

i have a beyonce ft jay-z crazy in love ringtone on my phone already. i tried to upload it to the webpage but even with it zip its over the 150k limit

but i will try to make a new one for you.

there you go, i forgot i could attatch it to the main post since that allows 200k. hope you all like it

admin: upload limit in gallery is now 200KB.

I'd love Collective Soul's 'Shine'. I have it for my Nokia and can't find it for my P800. I'm trying to learn how to make ringtones and the info I have isn't step by step. So, if you could provide a little tutorial walking me thru the steps, including the programs you use, that would be great! Also a Tinkerbell theme would be nice.

i downloaded the shine song from collective souls and i should have it done by tonight as i am going to work in a few minutes, but if you could give me some more insight on the tinkerbell theme as where i can get it at please let me know i search and i can not find it. but this is open for everyone i'm just trying to help give people what they want but inorder to do so you have to step up to the plate people and post and make your request

I was hoping for "good" quality polyphoninc sound effects ringtones, not imys. I heared so many on my aunts true-i samsung like for instance bird singing. I've tried all the others linked in esato.

i ususally make wav's but i use to have a samsung phone and have psmplayer to make poly ringtones, is the phone your using 40 chord or 16 chord polytones. and i should have everyone's request done later tonight

i'm sorry to say Carlsb3rg but i am having trouble making poly ringtones, i use to be able to make them fine on my samsung v205 when i had one but now i everything i try when i try to make one in psmplayer nothing seems to be playing for me

but i have made the collective soul - shine ringtone for Wtsinaname hope you enjoy it and if there is another part of the song you want captured as your ringtone please let me know and it would not be a problem for me to alter it for you and i hope you do enjoy it and keep the request coming

I've been trying to find a decent 'Naked Gun' or 'James Bond' polyphonic ringtone, but no luck as let

This question probably does not belong here, but how would you begin to make your own poly ringtones? I mean, do you need a specific program?

Also.. (I know I am probably going to have the mick taken out of me for this) Is a poly ringtone a wav or midi file?

I can extract tunes to a wav, but not too sure if a T610 would play it ok...

You need specific programs to make poly tones.. you can convert them from mp3s, but the result is often pretty bad and poly ringtones are midis.

james bond midi can be found @ our wap site. http://wap.mobile9.com/

Oppy, thanks so much for making the Collective Soul ringtone. But now I don't know how to get it.

you can download the collective soul - shine ringtone by selecting gallery on the top and than going to the ringtones section and selecting wav ringtones. if its a problem for you i can just upload it to this thread if you like

not a problem i would be glad to do that for you, maybe by tonight it should be done. i love making ringtones via request i just hate making ringtones for myself i always think it can be better and rather have someone else make one for me :clap:

i have made both the vocal and nonvocal ringtones of Sugar Ray - Answer the phone. my only problem is when i make ringtones i like to make them atleast 25 - 30 seconds long because thats how many seconds it takes before the phone stops ringing and my file sizes are always about 260k - 280 when zipped up 300k unzip. and i can not upload them here. if you have a email i will be glad to send you them there if not its up to you if you want the smaller and shorter in length wav ringtone. but i have both files done

not at all overwhelm i love making wav ringtones i find it fun and it gives me something to do and always adds one more ringtone to my phone. i enjoy it more when the person i make it for enjoys it at well. on another note i notice you have made the gallery upload limit 300k which is great now because my ringtones be coming out to be like 250k never over 300k so look for a lot more ringtones guys since i can fit them now

will the attatchment ever go pass 200k though or do i have to wait till the gallery is back up and running to send my files that i have now

i'm sorry to dissapoint anyone at anytime but i am sorry to say that i am not good if not great at making poly ringtones my conversions from wav to midi seem to slack quality all the time and i am deeply sorry for not being able to fufill you request only if it was in a wav format than it be no problem

hello! i'm a newbie here. i have a question. how do you send the wav to us? through email? i don't have a cable that connects the pc to my phone

also, is it true that nokia phones cannot download wav files more than 100kb through wap?

i'd like to request wavs but don't know how to get them in my phone

please help

thanks oppy, although the version of better off alone is unrecognizable, the one i was refering to was the original intro, the instrumental before the lady goes, do you think youre better off alone, actually it would be great with the ladys voice so it would be really nice, the notorius big was cool too, but could you make it a little longer until he goes, "to all the ladies in the place with stlyle and grace, alow me to..."

wow guys i never felt so loved and inspired to make ringtones since i came here. its always nice when i make ringtones and upload them but i really do enjoy it more when i can fufill a requested tone as the feeling is more dramatic and it means more to give to someone else. i will do my best to have everything fixed tomorrow and all the ringtones uploaded by tomorrow night. i would of done it tonight but i am going to go and watch the smackdown tapings tonight at the continental airlines arena in NJ
