oppy, how do i convert .rar into .wav file, i'm having trouble transferring it to my p800 because my phone doens't recognize the .rar format. please help... i need some new wav tones...

Hi Sam welcome to Mobile9, you need to install winrar on your pc, you can then download the wav files and copy them over to your P800. Can't remember the site address so just search google for winrar.

thanks guys for all the help. i tried to download the winrar demo but i couldn't find it anywhere after it finished downloading. i'm doomed, i'm not a techie person

i just wish that oppy will make it a .zip instead of a .rar format, it's much easier

ah sorry for the long delayed in posting, work was very rough today kept me there much of all day. i will really try to make the tones in zip format for now on its just winrar actually compresses the file way more better than what a zip file is

Oppy, yes thats the correct site, but it appears to be down. There was a thread on Esato about these wav.. I did a search but could not find it :/

thanks a lot oppy! although theres a little problem, im sorry if im so O.C. but towards the end, theres a high-pitch cut, like as if you were playing a record and you just dragged the needle off. is it ok if you fix it? did you encode this in the same manner as the notorious big - big poppa tone?

sounds great and its wav format already, did you make it that way ? maybe the only thing i would personally do to it is increase the volume more on it to make it louder

was thinking that i may have had an answer to the size limit problem, i have a wav editor and since ringtones arent normally longer than say 30 seconds i just cut the bit that i want. I also have approx 11gb of mp3 to cboose from, so if u dont have it i may be able to help.
got various types, from old skool to bluegrass (dont ask)
