I read the thing about bluejacking, however if people are wanting to send messages to others by bluetooth, i found it quite simple with the nokia phones, don't know if it works with other phones as follows:

I went into organiser

Then write a note.

Then simply go into option and send then via bluetooth!!! Simple really.

Good thing about it, it lets you do something like 3000 odd characters.

P.S. If you know of anyone that has a different make and model of phone, if it works or not could you please let me know? Just out of wonderment LOL.

See yah all.

Is bluejacking still alive? blink.gif coz most models nowadays require you to accept incoming messages? Thus taking all the fun out f the blue'jacking' tongue.gif

It's alive and well. Just Friday, on my way home riding the train, I 'jacked 4 people and when I go to the starbucks near my office, I usually get one or two.

the trick is knowing some social engineering. Almost nobody will accept a message out of the blue (no pun intended) from "W1ck3d Moto" or some other funky name (I've never given my phone a messed up name, but I've jacked quite a number of them devil2.gif ) , but people will more likely accept something from "Service Update" or "Starbucks Freebies" or "McDonald's Giveaways" -- you get the drift.. wink.gif

I tried it by secretly bluetoothing a note from my k750i to my mate's k800i.

I re-named my phone, Microsoft.

It didn't live up to expectations.

First of all, it didn't tell him my phone's name, so my little joke fell flat at the first hurdle.

Secondly, his phone didn't display the note text.

After I confessed my guilt, we searched his phone for the message and we found it hidden away in his Notes. 1.gif

i had a peice of software for the SE P800 that sent messages over bluetooth automaticly to any phone in range, some phones that it asked for stopped after repeat attacks.
