iTunemywalkman is a great program for syncing your mobile to iTunes on a mac. I have tested it with a SE w600, Sam A707 and a LG ke800. all work well even over bluetooth. (sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, it used to be only SE phone but was recently added more)



I just noticed that this is an very old post and after reading through the whole thing I noticed that a lot of people are trying to sync there contacts and calenders. The best way I keep all my phones updated is by using ZYB . It works with almost all SE phone and many others as long as the phone have SyncML pre-installed on the phone and you will need to have a working data bearer on your mobile, i-e. a working internet connection. Most likely you will have GPRS installed but ZYB works with any data bearer (GSM, EDGE, UMTS, CDMA etc. SEE some things work with Verizion {ha, not much though})

U hav a high resolution phone. Therefor all java games will work. TO play small resolution games plz go to the option screensize and change the resolution. THen u can play the game without any corruption of images but the screen will be smaller.

For ur phone try 320*240 Resolution games. Like W850i,K800i,K810i,W880i...etc.

i'm having second thoughts about updating the software of my w810. i've downloaded the update service program into my pc a few mins ago and i am worried that something might happen to my phone after the update and i don't have the option of being able to switch back to the previous software version.

What do you mean by flash drive Is it a software to update SE phone?

Download update service software from sonyericsson.com. Install the software into your pc and then restart. Run software update and plug your phone (w810i) via usb and the update service will do the updating for you. No need for flash drives

There's a gps software available at the homepage of SE. Don't bother downloading it because the software would ask for gps equipment. I'm pretty sure my w810 doesn't have anything connected with gps equipment.

I dont think you can do.
But in my W850i I can change the startup picture.
Try by setting a picture as startup picture by going to picture folder:

selct a picture and go to More>>Use as>> startup picture

Not sure this facility is available in your phone. But give a try
