is it me or is the comp looking thinner and thinner blink.gif
jefdizon
.mebbe because this week's topic is too damn hard.. dry.gif...
Vlammetje
it's not the topic, it never was. it's the censored.gif situation at work where we censored.gif have about 3 ppl to do the work of censored.gif 7

By the time I get home i can barely move, let alone theme.

All I know is pills and sleep wacko.gif

And it looks like things will get worse before they get better so I may not be able to compete for a longer stretch of time then I'd care to know about.

The topic does play a part in the number of people participating, as well as new competition. Remember all those spanish dudes we had? they made a comp. for themselves. And also as vlamm mentioned, everybody is busy nowadays smile.gif
Patrick
is anybody busier than me? laugh.gif
Evrae
I didnt think my topic would cause people to not participate, we all moan at easy challenges where the variety is too wide so you could get away with practically anything. I hope if I ever win another that I will put up a vote to see which choice people want to pick. Yes I have looked back on previous topics and this 1 is rather poor for contestants, just lucky some of our newbies arnt affraid of getting stuck in, even when not too sure of the concept grouphug.gif clapping.gif thumbsup.gif

erm.. lemme think... blink.gif

erm.. no wink.gif

--------

we are getting busier these days, but the topic also does play apart in who enters.
Vlammetje
dunno ex..... I only work a measly 11 to 13 hours per day wacko.gif so you probably win.

ev I think tough topics are a good way to 'sharpen' ones skills wink.gif and they are definitely a lot more challenging than 'simple' topics... thus being more rewarding.

I'd love to participate but i just can't get myself to sit down at the computer for more than 30 mins once I'm finally home oops.gif

Another thing may be the coming fo summer..... life outside and away from the computer is a lot more tempting than it is in winter haha.gif devil2.gif

i don't mean to sound ignorant ex but how cold does it really get there in the aussi country? i thought it was always summer type of weather blink.gif
jefdizon
from the Christmas cards i've received.. i'm guessing it's hot during Q4 of the year in Australia..

The card i got was a Santa wearing trunks and building a Sand Christmas Tree.. unsure.gif

maybe i'm wrong? oops.gif
Vlammetje
Xmas is in summertime though... on the southern half their summers and winters are reversed as compared to ours haha.gif

Still I too believed that aus has a generally warmer climate than we have here, all year round... oops.gif
Patrick
laugh.gif I think australia is the only country that has Christmas in SUMMER! dry.gif how cool is that? laugh.gif

lol, yeah that was me tongue.gif

sorry sad.gif, I still have much to learn from the master of all masters wink.gif

anyway what has the weather in austrilia got to do with the theme comp tongue.gif

I must admit, i have cut down my enties now as well sad.gif, i've been quite busy these past few weeks like everyone else, (maybe not as busy as ex, but still busy), also as the summer comes i'll start spending less and less time on the pc sad.gif, till winter starts comming again smile.gif even though it will probably rain most of the summer in england tongue.gif
