I got S40 theme studio 2.1 and download a few themes to work out what goes where and all that.

I've now started making a theme but have hit a wall, How do I remove the text so only the images that I want to use as buttons are there. I got the button images in but the text is still displayed.

The text I'm talking about is:

In the program I just can't find the option to make the text off or transparent.

pls help me in this matter.

Also I can not seem to get the "startup" & "Shutdown" pictures to work. When I turn on or off my fone I keep getting my carrier themed ones.

I copied the carrier theme over to the pc and pulled it apart and the startup and shutdown gif's are there so I can't under stand how they got it in and i can't.

the text for the softkeys will be displayed, you can't remove them.

the startup/shutdown screens may not work because of carrier branding, so you may need to flash with generic firmware.

"flash with generic firmware" where would i find that/them ?

some mobile phone shops will do it for you.
