hey im somewhat of a newbi to cell phones and i just got my phone 2 days ago...and i joined this site yesterday n i found out how to download the themes on this site but still havent quite figured out how to download the midi ringtone files thanx in advance

Well the midi's aren't on WAP so you'll have to use a PC.

Find the midi file you want and then right click it and select "save target as" save it to your hardrive, then use Bluetooth, IRDA or a cable to transfer it to you phone, if you don't have any of these, upload the file to http://www.euploader.com and download it via WAP by folowing the instructions they give you.

Hope this helps smile.gif and Welocme to Mobile 9 thumbsup.gif

Hello!

I am also brand new, and would love to use some MIDIs I have for ringtones, but which software do I use? I tried the MMS Studio and they download fine, but only as MMS templates. sad.gif

The other supplied software is image editing software only. Surely there's a way to get MIDIs to my phone and use them as ringtones?

Any info is greatly appreciated... thanks in advance!

@bek - get them to your phone by:
1. Infrared
2. Bluetooth
3. Data cable

What phone are you using? If you have a T610, then you shouldn't need any software to transfer midi's to your phone, if you are using one of the 3 methods I mention

@bek:
@vince: euploader does not allow MIDIS to be downloaded via WAP

You can download midi from an ordinary webserver, so you just have to get an account from a free provider (like Geocities) if you don't have an account already.

I have however not been able to download .jar or .mpn from the web, does anyone know if that's not supposed to work?
