I have a postpaid plan that is something like:

$6 for 60minutes with any number
plus 1000minutes in credits to 10numbers i choose
plus 60 SMS
plus 5 MMS

after that i can pay additional minutes as a normal line.

(I never spend more then 300mins/month)
(Here in Brazil is bloody cheap)

For now i'm using Postpaid, for $50 permonth and sometime I need more than this and refill again.

usually both smile.gif

one upto three prepaid cards with low net-internal fees and
selected by amount of contacts who happen to use that net.

then a two years plan postpaid while getting a top phone for "free."
with a weekend-flat only, as well enough range for internet use at will
- 50 minutes free monthly appear absolutely sufficient for my "profile".
during my "samsung months" now, I have paid only once, that was for
a game to test the procedure, not a single call tongue.gif outside the free mins

since I got a landline-flat almost globally (some asia not included) -
actually that is kinda prepaid too laugh.gif I rather take a slightly higher
basic fee for an overall coverage and never pay anything extra "post".

i actually have been using a service called embee mobile to get free prepaid service from AT&T for a long time. but they just started a thing with metropcs where you can get free music and games. i used it for my wife's phone and got about $20 of free credits. then i bought a game and ringtone directly from metropcs :-) byebye.gif

I go for postpaid :D
In Malaysia, postpaid gets better service and customer support - which is important to me (A LOT) :D

one of my prepaid cards ("xtra" by t-mobile)

has got the "nonstop option" additionally bookable for €1.50 pm
(one month minimum only) then you pay only for the first minute
of every call 29 cents, and merely talk endlessly - also just 29 cents
for the first sms of a day, then 100 sms free on that same day. thumbsup.gif

the card is by default without monthly fee
and charges 5 cents per minute or per sms.
I'll use the nonstop option only if my job keeps
me (as recently) away from home for a few weeks.

it is in my old n 95, while for my samsung
I still prefer the postpaid with all the benefits
as specified in my first comment here, above.
