I have downloaded a couple of themes for my NOkia 6030, but a couple of them are kind of dark and so the signal and battery indicator are difficult to see. Any way to change these to say white so they are more visible?

only way is to edit the theme itself.

and how do I do this?

not sure you can, unless you have the sis. file but with newer themes you can't unless you have the original TDF files.
you will need the theme studio, (check the applications forum stickies)

younso - It sounds like you need to download some better themes, look for themes that dont have these problems, and then search the author for more themes.
