well guys i just been to download s60 theme studio for my 6600 and there is a new theme studio. V3.0 and its for all devices, well all from after the 6600 from what i can see.. i'm just downloading it now so i hope its faster then V1.2 and by the look of it there is animation capabilities..

well ive tried it guys and this thing runs so smooth, like SE theme creator infact.. that might have something to do with my new p.c mind it seems a lot more complex then V1.2 though. It might take me a bit to get used to this Has anyone else tried it yet ????

I've been working with it (in anticipation of my 6270) and it does run pretty smoothly, once it's loaded up.
Startup seems to take forever (what Java based app doesn't), but once it's going it is very snappy.
So many options, so many choices.
One thing I have noticed that's kind of -- no, VERY -- annoying is themes here on M9 that say that they are for the 6270 - v2 won't load them, saying that I need to use v1.2. *grumble*
Not that I'm saying, "come on themers get the latest version"...what I'm thinking is "why didn't Nokia build in some kind of backwards compatibility?"

Its super fast on mine, i do have a gig of ram, but for the purpose of this test i removed 512 of that, and its still fast.

Edit: Its about 2 sec delay with 512 ram.
About 0.5 - 1 with 1024.
Still not instant like the se creator, but the component options between them dont even come close. (There are 106 sections just for text color alone!).

no kidding i just did an entire change of the icons in under 10mins , but i am using 2.5 gigs of ram , btu still this makes the old studios look like slugs.

I'm sticking with the old version. I tried v3 and while it was extremely fast, it takes what used to be a long process and makes it even longer. The only real benefit I found was animation.

With this theme studio 3.0 is possible to make themes for models like 6600, 7610? or its only for N70, N90 etc?

Not true DDAAXX , it is simply not a theme studio for beginners , is all , and believe me sg god is no beginner

@ Sggod just make sure you remove prior versions of theme studio before installing 3.0 ok bud , this is important

Ok, I belive in you... but you belive in me... I'm not a beginner and if I find that in this program there are some big bugs (the bigger is a problem with SVG icon), I say the truth, not the false.

Then... if someone can explain me how to fix the major problem of this prg, ok... if not, for me this prg have a lot of bug.

Solved the problem with SVG icon!! :D
I'm so happy!!

If I import an image PNG inside a SVG file, the editor show it ok, but when the sis is created, the editor tranfer a white image.
If I create the icon with Illustrator directly, the icon is ok.

Perfect... now I try to create a new theme

hello, can somebody give me a link where i can download an older version of s60 theme studio, like, version 1.2? i mean, as much as possible, i really want to start from the basics, nd im not really interested to put in some animation. just images, and also, i tend to run more programs at the same time, like workin on adobe photoshop for addt'l images. so you could imagine how much of my ram it would take up, esp. in getting the laatest version. so...if someone would be generous enough...please? well, you can also give me an installer thru my email at *no email please*....:-D that is, if someone won't mind...hihihi...okay, well...just taking some chances, though. please? help?

i am so sad that although i have 1 gig of ram, but my screen resolution only 1024 x 768..

so i cannot install nokia theme studio...

is there a theme studio that doesnt required 1280 x 1024 resolution ?
