Okay since i'm still a newb making themes for the SE series. other than .gif what other extensions does the theme maker support so i can make my themes animated. heh

According to the developer guidelines, gif is the only supported format for animations. Developer Guidelines - themes (PDF)

I think you can use .svg pictures as well now with the new theme creator

i also beleiv you can make aniamtions using flash , and then save them as gif
also theme creator supprots the following formats.
Png - Jpeg - Gif - and i think also Bitmap

You are correct. When I made my reply, I hadn't been using the latest and greatest theme creator (either that or I was a victim of my own failure to RTFM). w00t!! SVG!!!!

so what program can actually make that? i pretty much can do basic flash so i'm thinking i can make those too!
