Hello and welcome to our theming community here at mobile9 notworthy.gif

Now to cut to the chase i'll give you the short version , basically it's not that the linking isn't allowed , it's actually that linking to Z e d g e , isn't allowed , infact even the word will be removed , for this particular site has members who have stolen alot of our work , and not even givin us the true authers and designers the credit for the themes , now beleive me mate alot of us have tryed to reason with z e d g e about removing the stolen themes , or at least giving us the credit by changing the auters name , however this has not really worked , the main reason for this being that z e d g e , the site do not review or check the themes that are uploaded there to thier gallery instead it's instant and for this reason alot of theft of others work happens there.

Don't get me wrong we have some friends there at this site......well i do anyway and i hold them or yourself no ill will , so again i say welocme to a real themers site , where not only are we more friendly and ......wait for it actually helpful , but also m9 plays host to some of the most talented mobile phone artists this side of the black stump.

Now that that's out the way here's my comments regarding all your themes above.

1 - Please leave your previews at 100% , for when i viewed them they seem stretched .

2 - all of these themes are quite well balenced in thier colours and compisition.

3 - i also liked the colour combination's you went for in each theme.

4 - i like how none of the themes are extremly busy in detail and imagery , which is best for good functionality.

Ok now some tips to help you improve on your themes.

1 - try creating actual softkeys and status area's for each theme , as this allows for a more pro finish to the theme.

2 - try to experiment with different effects in your img's whether it be blending , shadow's , flare's ...etc this will make each theme look different , adding more desire to your work.

3 - try entering our TMC or Theme Making Challenge here you will learn many things from all of our very talented artists and designers.

4 - i've noticed in alot of your themes that the text is rather hard to read , plse try things like reducing the tranperancy of your background img's , or choose better and more suitable colour , this will allow the theme to be functional and more user friendly.

5 - One last thing try using png format in some area's like tabs , and highlights , this will mean all we see is the img , rather than the img bg as well , again giving your work a more pro finish.

Now if you would like some help with anything or have any question's , myself or any of our happy admin will be more than happy to asist you .

oh and if you would like to see some of my themes , just click the " my themes link " under my signature.

Thank you for that reply. Some of my themes have all the images saved as png .. just the earlier ones that have jpeg files in them as I didn't realise png was more suited. So themes like the Nike one (the last one I created) are all good as it's all in png .. you may notice on the Nike theme that I did add lense flare and some effect to the main image too.

It'd been a while since really using PhotoShop for anything more than resizing images or creating a sig for a forum .. so it took a few themes to really get back into PS features and opening my imagination.

I agree about the text thing on some of my themes too .. something that from feedback on other forums such as *the unmentionable site* has been pointed out as a 'problem' for long term use of a theme .. and will be addressed in all future themes so they look good and function practically too.

As for that unmentionable site .. I'm sorry to read that credit is being stolen from where it's due .. I've found zed.ge to be a useful site and there is a thread in the themes forum about reporting theme stealing .. so if I do notice any I will be sure to inform them. Although I had been on mobile9 and browsed around I never actually entered the forum until 'copewell' private messaged me on zed.ge telling me that this was the best forum to register on for help/feedback on themes.

I will surely look at that TMC as it will be good practice .. minus the brainstrain of thinking up a 'theme' for the themes I create.

Thanx again for the feedback ..
