Full Version: Problems Downloading Wav Ringtones / Themes

Hi All. I am new to this forum and am having difficulties in two areas:

1) I have downloaded one of the themes to my PC but am unsure how to get it on to my SPV C500. Can anyone tell me the steps for loading a theme onto this phone (including which folders to put the relevant files in)?

2) When I download a ringtone I get the windows media player trying to play it instead of allowing a file to be created on the PC. Can anyone tell me how to get around this?

Please do not come back and tell me these have been answered before as I have spent the best part of the morning searching the forums. I need help from a nice helpful person PLEASE

run activesync, copy file (.hme, .cab etc) to phone, execute application using file manager to install.

de-associate the concerning file type from your media player. windows media player typical menu: options>file types.
