i have a phone SamSung E600 but i have no internet, i was wondering where can i dl ringtone to this phone without using the internet? Can I have a site that will tell me to enter my cell # and will send it to my ringtone folder? plz help me .. thanks

are you saying you have no WAP/GPRS access or do you mean you are unable to access the internet via a PC?

if you have no wap/gprs, then you need to get the settings from your supplier.

but if you cant access the internet. then it is a different matter.

however if you can access the internet, just type: RINGTONES, into google (or any other search engine) and you will have thousands of of web pages that you can pay for ringtones, to be sent to your fone.

please clarify.

hm .. i just want to dl ringtone off the internet by using ie. i won't mind about the ringtone charge, but i don't like to create an account. most of the site i search, they required an account. is there any other way i can enter my cell # and have it send to my samsung?

is there a reason you dont want to dl via ur fone. as even if you get a tune from an IE site, you'll styill need to dl it through gprs/wap.

there is a site called <url snipped> that is free where you can get some tunes via pc download.

these days 90% of sites that charge for rt's are by a subscription. but if you dl from here it is free and only costs the gprs/wap time.

if you want to dl to pc, just RIGHT CLICK the sample button and SAVE TARGET, this wont always work.

the options are plentiful. you dont have to pay for tones.

i don't have internet on my phone. back in those days, u know nokia 3360? where u can compose or dl directly from a website without register or fee charge from there. all they charge was 10 cents just like regular message. Can you tell me what is gprs/wap?

gprs/wap basically is a miniture internet on ur fone.

if you say wanted somkething from this site say a mp3 tune you would....

go to: www.gallery.mobile9.com

then: select ringtones

then: select MP3.

when you see a tune you would like you select it.

when the page loads, it will give you a numeric code, and the WAP/gprs address to input on your fone.

(you then need to select the function on ur fone to go "online", then via OPTIONS look for the choice to "go to", then type in the address shown on the web)

then it asks you to choose which type of internet you have (choose the NON WAP choice) then OPTIONS save as bookmark (so u can keep going back)

then enter the number

select the type of data......ringtone etc

then select ok

then download


then chose where you want to save it.

total price, is whatever ur supplier charges for a bit of data/gprs time. ((for me i dont get charged, so its free!!))

all you have to do to get it is ring your service provider (voda ,,t mobile ....orenge...o2 etc) and ask them to send you the wap settings for your phone (d600) they will send them to you in a txt message then you press save turn your phone off then back on again and thay will be on your phone

Chech your service providers homepage, go to the area support and into mms,wap,e-mail setting... choose your phone and model, add your number and a sms message will be sent you with automatic configuration to wap etc..

The most operators have this support on their homepage, i have NetCom and works fine Try to check.....

i don't know where that locates, i saw letter "i" and i click on it .. it shows the "WAP BROWSER"
