Full Version: What Are The Best Payware Sites Around?
mobile9 Forum > Downloads > Games
MightyVibesCHjazzzz
Hey there poeple!

Just wondering what, in your opinion, are THE BEST sites for BUYING GAMES!!!

Please don't tell me to google around for it or search the forum. Not google because if you type in what you are looking for you only get a lot of links to forums (like this one), and but a few to Pay-Sites. And actualy next to none of the best! Not the forum, because I find that the information is to much spread around, and I do appreciate clearity! So please read this topic carefully before responding!

I would like to start this thread as a means of informing eachother a bit more clearly then the Weblinks-Thread. At the least it would be easier to find if all links were posted in one topic, don't you agree?

Thnx in advance guys!!!

I've bought a hell of alot of S40 games in these past months, but I only use Jamster, and http://www.pocketplay.co.uk/. Oooh and http://www.thegamestrain.com/index.htm.

I use these sites because most others charge around £5, and I refuse to pay more than £3 for a game.

I'm spending my afternoon checking out the different sites and their possibilities. Because I live in the Netherlands I have to check all sites to see wich I can use. I could just as well make a review of each site, so you know where you want to go. If you are a person who doesn't have a creditcard or PayPal account, I bet you would like to know wich sites offer games by phone or sms.

Reviews are mainly done for the Netherlands and the UK. But if you want your country to be mentioned too, and you have a short review of handling an ways of payment in your country, please PM me and I'll edit the specific post!

Do remember, you need 30 posts to be able to PM. Other communications are mentioned in my Profile!

Cheers!

Thnx Pascha! They got lotsa games! And it's one where I can buy a game from!

I have checked all the links you guys posted here and am working on making the list I was talking about. Did figure out that, when you live in the Netherlands, there aren't that many sites in the list you can buy from. But maybe we have some Dutch players who know of some splendid sites where we Dutch can buy from.
UK and German players don't really have to worry. They have a slammin' collection of sites to buy from.

I really liked the games they had on www.livingmobile.net but as far as I can read, you can only buy there if you live in Germany! Is this right, Pascha, or am I overlooking something?
MightyVibesCHjazzzz
At least I sent them an E-mail to ask them, but maybe you have an answer!
pascha
thats right, that you can buy LM games from LM-onlinestore only if you live in Germany, but there are also several sites on the net, which are also selling their games. And google is the best way to find them for your country.
MightyVibesCHjazzzz
OK, will try and look! Just can't understand why they don't link thru on there own site. Would be a great service if they did! And I HATE Google with all the links I don't need! The first 100 (give or take) are all kinds of stupid review sites! I don't need a review! I can see that on the developers site! Even if I write "buy" it just gives me reviews!

Ah well, must be me not being so clever with search engines like google, haha!!!

But I won't give up. Thnx for the pointer Pascha! wink.gif
pascha
many review sites are very usefull!!!
MightyVibesCHjazzzz
Yeah, if they made those sites a bit more user-friendly and not so Bombastic with all kinds of images and busy lay-outs! You kinda get cross-eyed visiting those kinda sites!
pascha
now you know how I feel, when I'm looking for games. It isn't easy to find stuff but it's possible.
MightyVibesCHjazzzz
Pascha!!! TOTAL RESPECT for all the work you had!!!
