Please please please, no more Windows based Tracker Skins. The P8xx/9xx is a Symbian based operating system. I really don't understand why people would want their SonyEricsson phone to look like Windows!

Sorry, I know this is a rant. But just imagine the quality original skins we would be getting if developers spent more time on original layouts, instead of creating a Windows clone.

I mean come one. How creative is it to copy the Windows design and layout?

Ok, I have vented now. Carry on, nothing to see here....

Enjoy. smile.gif

Everything you said is totally true. smile.gif

But they always seem to get massive downloads?

maybe it's because people want to match the appearance of their PDA to the appearance of their computer desktops? It's just one of those things people do...

PDA??? Who needs a PDA if you have a P910? tongue.gif

I think you are right though. Perhaps we should be designing SonyEricsson Themes for Windows. tongue.gif

By the way, I would love to see a Windows Tracker Skin with a page that displays a Blue Screen of Death. It will give the users the feelling that they're using a real Windows device. laugh.gif

Enjoy smile.gif

Aparently you have never done a format/setup in your life or you never used the right version of windows tongue.gif

Machine is made to operate man.... not the other way around wink.gif

*Topic moved to theming Chat*

Huh? I'm confused...

Anyway, I've done a format and a setup... it's really not that hard, except when your desktop is highly moody and volatile machine... thank god my laptop doesn't have a mind of it's own.

beano girl.... I was talking to the guy who made the topic....... smile.gif

yeah I know... still confused though... what's new?!

No I was just bragging that I'd done a format and a setup - many in fact, you have to when your computer is CrAzY!!! Anyway, it's nothing that special, I'm just proud that I can fix my comp when I want to...

Anyway, as usual, I'm leading the thread offtopic.gif

I'm with the topicstarter, I too am not fond of themes made to make my phone look like my PC (or like a mac or linux PC for that matter!)

Still they seem popular wacko.gif

My PC is crap, the last thing I want to do is make my phone like it tongue.gif

it was a good idea at first, imittating either windows to look like a mac, or linux etc... and then it moved on to phones.
but as usual everything gets out of hand and becomes annoying... haha.gif

Hey... The people that makes Widows themes, they will get over it... and, when they look back on theyr widows themes, the realize how silly it really is:P

They make them, and regret it later:P hehe
dLazaros
But then again.... those are the themes that you got on your phone first tongue.gif

I had my windows phase when i started theming, i never regret making any of my themes wink.gif
