straight up theivery, or an untalented hack?

Taking something without asking permission is a thief. Especially when the thief knows the owner..double thief.

Taking someone else art and make a modification to it still need a permission or disclaimer, but I still can forgive that, coz that need challenge to make a modification..

Taking an image from internet, scaling down the image and put their name on it(claimed as their own) is called ripping. This is unforgivable.

The one that Sg-God made is straight came from his imagination and creativity, and Bo wahba took it. If he/she use that for his/her own, that would be fine, put uploaded it to the net and let people know or even give him credits, that's awful, pity to him.

So answering to your question, it's both August, a thief and untalented hack.

hmmm, points taken. next question is:
does it warrant deletion? or edit upload to reflect original author.
let me stress the point: had it been the same wallpaper, it would have automatically deleted.

@august;I see that the dude has mentioned that the original skin is SG-God's.I think bo wahba liked SG-God's skin and is advertising his website with it.
But its all left upto SG-God.I say bo wahba should've asked first....I mean we all being here in one community and all.I'm sure SG-God wouldn't mind after due credit has been given.He is a very generous soul as far as I know him.

Anyways lets wait till he responds.

If he asked permission before using the theme, i could have even suppoted him by passing the images (i've already did it to a guy who contacted me through msn after seeing this theme in deviantart)
But its natural to get anger when ur work being used by someone without permission or credit...
Hmm...Anyway, he has added credit now..Though he used a part of the theme, i accept he might have spent hours using the theme studio...Lets encourage and support!

yes indeed it is a great answer sg god, and a mature one, in this day and age of violence and tragidy it is nice to see ther is still hope for the human race yet

As to above question in my opion i'm with brother timetravller it is stealing, not of the image though as sg god doughtfully made that from scratch himself, however he did modify it and put hr's of work in the studio to make it something special for himself, difference being sg god would not personally know how to contact the wallpaper original auter, where as bo wabba is of this site and sg god's thread is easily noticed in the theming nokia area, so he could easily have asked. Just as i have asked sg god before to be able to use his great icon set's he made, to which he has allowed me to do so, it's really not that hard to post someone here as an answer is never that far away unlike other uh hem sites i won't mention.

Okay...he/she has added different wallpaper and icons to my theme. If i ask you moderators to delete the file from the gallery, i feel as though i'm too harsh on somebody..i never been like that before to anyone..

When I first started theming I used other softkeys to put in my own themes, but I never published them because a) they weren't completely my own work and they were rubbish

I have had people ask me if they can use my skins with their wallpapers, and I'm okay with it as they ask first and give credit afterwards. This theme should be removed from the gallery until Bo_wahba learns some theming manners.

If "we" condone obvious copies like this, where will it end? I say delete the theme, send bo wahba a PM with some well chosen words and leave it at that. But as already stated, I think sg-GOD have to make the decision.

And can someone please restrain Chunky..

Opinion: Delete it

Reason: Although it has been mentioned on the description that the original theme is from SG's theme, permission was not asked. If permisson was asked, then that would be fine if credit is given where due. In this case, it hasn't and action must be taken.

Letting this person off could open a flood gate which I'd rather see shut (in the worse case scenario).
