Try to make a "fade out" of your mp3, so the music will seem as complete, also try to upload high quality of brand, minimum 128kb/s, 320kb/s would be better with a short mp3 of course

nice work butterfly.

a "fade out" is where you edit the end of the track/sample so that it fades away involume to noting - as per original track recordings on a CD for example.

In my experience I've not noticed no significant drop in quality using files down to 64Kb/s - there are still a lot of phones out there with mono speakers that would blow if they tried to play a 320Kb/s ringtone.

Oh so how do u do a fade out? I didn't fade it out bcoz I wanted it to loop if the rings too long..

for looping one short tone it's a good idea to fade out

i use 64kbps for my ringtones also...but my phone supports wma instead of mp3.

I'm with Butterfly here - I try and get a similar start and end section to my ringtones so they can loop seamlessly if needed.



good point, I don't use MP3s either, but I still believe a 320kbs mps would blow the mono speaker of a motorola v600 for example.

320kbs is way too high for any phone. even for the moto e398 with stereo speakers around 192kbs would be the max in my opinion.

But if I do wanna fade out how do I do that?

if you are using dbpoweramp and the powerpack, you just tick the option for "fade out"

i'm not sure which application you are using so i cannot elaborate more...?

when opening the kill bill and natalie imbruglia zip files I get an error stating file is damaged

I have tried to open with winrar and 7zip

right click.. save target as.. or in ur case try using a download manager like.. "Getright" works great!
