You mean something like this?

Since you can't do 3d with photoshop, we have got a problem. Like you see here this is a rotating tex.

Turning an orb is more difficult, you have to do the animation with the shadow. So set different shadows on the orbs and make the ani.

Thats v good i meant ilke spinning round i cant find anyway to do it without the canvas becoming larger and the image becoming smaller

Find an existing globe animation (gif) there should be 30 frames to make the full circle (I can send you one).
Edit the frame to make it what ever you want (fill, add text, texture,) and bring them back together to a new gif thumbsup.gif
If you have trouble making it, I'll be back on office Tuesday and make a small tut for it wink.gif

Did not know if you meant this, but here is the link.

That is more easier than the other one haha.

Well if i want to do that, i do it like this:

A little tut

Take the orb with a transp background. Duplicate layer, than go to

-->image-->rotate canvas-->arbitrary

you will get this screen
user posted image

put there for example 5-->ccw

Ok here we go!
Duplicate layer and follow the same steps, put 10 now.

Take the steps 5, 10, 15 till you are round.

I should do it this way!

Maybe there is an easier way? Dlaz?

Go to imageready and you are finished.

Patrick_Lippe
seems that the circle is not totally round than!

So this will only work witha perfect circle ???
Patrick_Lippe
If it is going fast you wil not see it maybe, but the circle has to be perfect in my view!

OK! Now i know what you were meaning with the fact that you can't get it turning round. I haven't used a tut, but just tried something.
-----------------------------------------------------
Ok here we go for what i did to get it like this.

I grabbed my rounded eliptical tool and hold the shift to get the round perfect. Copy. Than i opened a transp size 100x100 and pasted it. Call this no1

Than i opened a new docu and repeated the step. Than go to -->image-->rotate canvas-->arbitrary
and put there 45ccw. Then select the area with you tool and copy it (important: not copy merged), paste the orb in no1.

Repeat this procedure with 90, 135, 180, 225, 270, 315.

All paste this in no1. Now you will have 8 layers. Go to imageready and you are finished.
---------------------------------------------------------

I know why you don't get the orb really rounded, because you have copy merged it! This will turn the whole pic even the transparant file.

that's great tut @Patrick...

second way..if you would like another image..in not round ..or text..to turn around..on transparent background or only the image or text(font)

1..copy the same layers..and named it ...as..1,2,3 4, 5..etc..

2. example like layer no 2. you go on "edit" --> "tramsform" ----> " rotate" ..and you will see the transition one by one...smile.gif

same thing goes too..if you would like text over the globe...move different way of the globe...

PS:..you could do transform each image..also in scale rotate..perspective and etc..smile.gif..
