Is there a java application for mobile phone that can read microsoft word or pdf?

I'm not talking about reading .txt file, but .doc & .pdf.

Does it exist yet?

The only program that i know of is webviever. Onfortunately I havent heard of a free java application, if that is what you are looking for.

WebViewer includes the following features:

Forms
Security via HTTPS (if supported by the device), basic authentication

Incremental rendering
Viewing of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, ZIP and PDF documents
Viewing of images at their full size or scaled to fit the device's screen width
Optical character recognition for faxes and scanned documents
Easy to navigate with no horizontal scrolling required
Support for Unicode and many character encodings

You can download a trial version and see if it meets your demands in document reading.

Thanks for your response. I've tried the webviewer. Unfortunately, I don't know how to view the pdf file, stored locally in the phone.
I think, webviewer can only view pdf/word file through internet connection.

I'm really hoping that there'll be java apps that can view word/pdf that stored locally, without connecting to internet. My service provider charge a huge amount for gprs connection..
