2. whats the main difference between list highlights and new list highlights...

3. i tried applying the mask to the "edited setting item volume" and it showed in the theme studio preview window that it is see through but when i created the sis file, transfered it to my cell phone and applied the theme, i got a white bg begind the vol indicators... bash.gif wassup with that?

When I got it applied to my phone, the transparency not working.
but when my friend applied it, it works..

Ive never seen this, but if TT had this problem and then applied the exact same theme to another phone, then i would also say it could be a firmware issue.
Or a bug in theme studio mask tool.
Try making the mask manually instead of using the wand or pen option.

1: Make the mask.
2: Save the mask.
3: Go to the volume edit section and select your volume bar image.
4: Click "Mask" and select your new manually made mask image.
5: Save it.
6: Compile .sis file and test.

Yes you can, but you can only see it on N6630 for now, tho thumbsup.gif

The list highlight only using hard mask, i.e 1 bit image, black and white only.
Cannot use the whole map to the whole image. Restricted to the sections only (four corners)

The new list highlight using soft mask, you can use gradient black to white for the mask.
You can use it to the whole image, like highlight in SE.

The problem in list highlight is :

The 5 pixels from up and 5 pixels from bottom always appeared/showed, the rest of it is scaled down.

Pay attention to the rule above..
Many themers made a full solid image for the list, what they get is somepart are cropped/scaled down.

This also happen to general popup window, except that it's 7 pixels up and down.

Happy theming...
