Hello techy people, id like to ask for your help. I have some mp3 songs with 5 mb average size, can anyone give me some tutorials and the software to reduce its size to a more phone friendly size? Thanks in advance.

1. Download this software - http://www.dbpoweramp.com 2. Reduce the sound quality using the software and the size will be reduced
Thanks.

If you want reduced size songs (not ringtones) convert your mp3 to mp4 (aac) with dbpoweramp

In my opinion, I think the best way is to use two programs: 1) MP3 Decoder (mp3 to wav) 2) Audiograbber (change te quality to max. 96 kbps, and compress to mp3 again). There is a small difference in the sound quality, but a huge difference in the file size. This way I managed to compress mp3 songs from 4,5 Mb to 1,2 Mb in average (you can't hear the difference, unless you have a very good ear).

You´ll never have better results with that than converting to MP4 (AAC)...it´s obvious...
