Full Version: What Do You Think Of This Melody?

I always wanted to create ringtones, and now I would like to hear some opinions about my experimental work ( how's the sound on different phones, etc.). I don't know if this is allowed (maybe I shouldn't promote my work like this), but I really need some opinions.
nettecollis
hi it sounds ok.... i can tell you made it on a s/e k700 .. tongue.gif

Thanks for your comment. Actually, I made it on a SE T610, but it's the same ringtone software - this was my first melody. The second melody (also created on T610) is called Reggae, for all Bob Marley friends! byebye.gif

Both ringtone refuse to play on my pc (winamp 5 pro) and on my V800!!!
All other midi's that i have are ok!!
What software have you used? blink.gif

I'm sorry, because I created those melodies on the phone, they can't be reproduced on the Pc (don't know the reason, still trying to fix this) unsure.gif . But they should work on the phones (nettecollis tried it).

Then, I'm putting a *.mid melody (works on the phones and a Pc - I've created it in Guitar Pro 4)

Please, tell me if this works, so I don't put non-working melodies in the future here. I apologize to all who couldn't play them.

This is one of my songs - it is 5:55 long! Enjoy!

Yep, works fine on the phone thumbsup.gif

Thank you. I got inspiration today and created ''The gun song'' gun_bandana1.gif (the inspiration came from this smiley), one shorter and one with the longer intro. I would like some feedback on how are they on the phone? Should they be louder, tones more higer, etc.?
VanjaT630
OK, people, I think you'll like this one. I still don't know what ringtones do you like (short or long). By the way, I can make mp3 ringtones out of mid's if someone wants (but it's the same quality).

And another one!
Duration: 1:04, it could be a real smash hit! Try it, and rate it.

I used cakewalk studio to open them

I'll try to save them so a computer can open them.

EDIT: made an error when converting it.. Noticed it on one of the midi.. Fixed it.

If any of the midis are missing any tracks let me know and I will covert them again.

VanjaT630
Hey, I must admit, it sounds good (but the original is still the original, some instrumets lost their touch), but since it's a conversion very nice. Oh, by the way, if you can convert Reggae, that would really help me (and other people who want it). If you have any advice on creating midis (i use GP4 now, it's really hard to work with, but precise) please let me know.

yes I would love to I'm still not sure how people program a midi event such as changing the instrument of a track half way trhough the song.

EDITED... Your latest midi seems to play just fine. SO no conversion needed.

Thanks for the help.

To all the people who found my ringtones interesting: i'm taking a short break, so do't expect a new tone for at least a week (I need inspiration), but until then, enjoy my collection of midis (few topics up)
