Have noticed using the DRM packager to make ringtones for my V800i that some work and some dont. Can you tell me for .wav and .mp3 what is the highest bitrate and frequency that can be used successfully ti make tones. I think I have realised that it has to be ripped as constant...
Have looked around but couldnt find anything.
Any help would be appreciated

Well, I am using 128 kbps Mp3 Files and everything's working fine with my V800.
I think 192 should work, too. I think variing bitrates might cause problems, but as long as you stick to the constant bitrates everything should work out fine.

I have the DRM packager from relesase and have worked with it for some time now.
There are some restrictions on the mp3 that the drm can handle.
Some mp3 that have been made with variable bitrate and some with a higher than 128 quality have some problems playing in the v800.
The drm packager will convert them to dm files but there are unplayable in the v800 media player.
For example the Naughty girl by beyonce can NOT be played in the v800 no matter what you do!!!
I have tryied to search deeper in to that to see if there are some kind of new locks for mp3.
Will post as soon as there is a result.
