Hi,
I am new to making themes. I created 2/3 themes for my k500i and I notice that the quality of the pics degrades when I download it on phone. I have downloaded some themes online and they look pretty good. Am I doing something wrong with the images? I use gif/jpg editor to resize the pics to fit the phone size. Is there any recommended image format I should use - GIF or JPG?
Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
SDZ.

a gif only has 256 colours so jpg would probably be better. I think the K500 also supports .png files
After resizing the pivture you are usually not done editing it. You need to sharpen it to get it to it's best quality. After resizing, pictures usually do blur a bit.
Also be sure to keep the resolution the same when you do resize images.
