hello, this is my first post. I got up to the LAST part, and on music converter, I tried clicking on compression setting, another window for it just won't open. Since I didn't complete this, I wouldn't know but how big does the file become after completion? and is this recommended for D500, too? I know u wrote it for K700/S700.
I have been using pvauthor to change the file format to .3gp, but the audio quality gets really bad when played on pc and phone. I just want to know how the original video that was in the phone is so CLEAR with sounds and picture perfectly with 7MB file size. What conversion do u recommend for D500? Thank you so much! best audio and video quality is mp4, follow guides for K700 and they should work perfect ;)
for audio you may want to keep it at minimum 96kbs stereo as the D500 has good speakers. |

well, like I said before, I can't access compression setting from music converter. do I need to install nero burning software v6 to use this encoder?

E398 only uses 176*144 3gp with AMR audio. use above encoder to achieve these settings |

Spawn,
Your information was very helpful. I do have a question. Is there a format (ie 3gp with Mpeg 4 video and AMR audio) that is most popular? The reason I ask is because I work for a company that wants to start putting some videos out for mobile users, and I wanted to know what would be the best format or formats to create for? I know there are hundreds of options, but is there 1 file we could create to reach a large audience or would we need to create 2-3 different video formats? Thanks. |

best bet for a universal standard is already set.
3gp 176*144 using either amr/aac audio. it's the most common standard for video playback. |

most likely, unless it's the wrong resolution. but mostly it's because of the audio codec.
