Please uploaders! I love (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grouphug.gif) this site but unfortunately my phone (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1.gif) doesn't recognize EPUB format files. I want to read (IMG:style_emoticons/default/10.gif) too.. PLEASE! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/surrender.gif)

I assume you have a Java phone. You can read epub's on your phone with the help of a little .jar application called ALBITE READER LITE. It is freely available on the net here. Just check which version works best for your phone.

You have to understand that to make readable jar ebooks is a fair amount of work. It is one of the reasons so many of them are not really satisfactory. To invest that amount of time and effort into something that has been sidelined by technology doesn't make much sense. Epub on the other hand is a future-proof format and will likely become the accepted standard for eBooks. The new version will allow multi-media to be embedded into books and I don't see how you can beat that. And best of all: it is an open source development. By far the majority of new phones are capable of reading ePub's even now and that trend will continue.

But as I said; use the reader above and you can be part of all this, enjoying a far wider choice of publications.
