The most obvious thing that I miss is a small private folder that allows me to use a few graphics (signature, avatars, headers and footers ect.) for use on the site. Imagehosts are notoriously unreliable when it comes to hotlinked user images. They want traffic to boost their ad income, after all.
Outside hosts also carry a risk of malicious software being introduced into M9. I've seen several cases in recent times that java based viruses have been introduced to forums via advertisement. Right now on M9 there is a google malicious software alert with some images hosted on a polish or slowakian imagehost.

Making a folder of a few mb's available for each registered member to use with personal images would reduce the risks as well as make it easier to maintain profile and download pages.

What? Didn't I explain clear enough? Some girl who follows me has some graphics on her profile and when I clicked on it Chrome came up with these two warning screens. I understand it to mean that the site hosting these particular images has recently been used by someone as a conduit to distribute malware.

It has happened frequently of late (Bolt, Mobilism, FreeBookSpot, among others), always from third party sources. Most of the time nothing much happens, but it disrupts sites because people get worried. Bolt had to bring in a vBulletin specialist and close for the weekend to solve the problem.

If images were hosted onsite it would plug possible sources of attack and admin only would have to make sure the ad-sites are safe.

The page adress is: http://p.mobile9.com/sahar_android/ The warning will come up if you click the Persian Club (pinned thread in the regional section of the forum) link. The Google info says that the problem is with the site that hosts the images. Therefore my suggestion that we should have a small folder within the profile for storage of site graphics.
