after reaching the third millennium, this was my choice. BC-900 (IMG:http://www.reichelt.de/bilder//web/artikel/D500/LADER_BC900_SET_06.jpg) (link above leads to the "small brother" BC 700) basic load currents of 200, 500, 700, 1000 mA, single slot microprocessor control, you can have a different mode in each. if you charge e.g., only two AA mignons, even 1.8 A charge current goes. features battery-doctor, repair, refresh, idle cycle, tickle load and of course delta-U switch, no need to watch thus. |

I can get the BC900 for 50 Euros in a bundle with four newest Eneloops (2500 mAh). Is it a deal? Sounds still expensive. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/weightlift.gif) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/weightlift.gif) depends on the purpose - for a camera the new eneloops may be great since the reduced amount of guaranteed recharge cycles ( only 500 !) is not as important as the by 20% increased capacity. while the 2000 mAh batteries of the latest type have 1500 recharge cycles guaranteed, which is better for lamps e.g. and all devices which need to be recharged daily. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) and yes, it is expensive - the 2500 mAh batteries come at double the price of the 2000er. I for my part will wait yet |
