Yup, sad isn't it? Hopefully some of them get to recover before the WC. Who will definitely miss the WC? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I know for England there is David Beckham ....

Still have to improve the team, the players, before we can even think of playing good in World Cup. Just like my country, Malaysia. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Some bad news for France (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) ..

Diarra set to miss World Cup, French don't call up replacement
QUOTE
French hopes of making it past the group stages at the World Cup have taken another blow today as news is reaching us that midfielder Lassana Diarra was ruled out of the tournament due to an intestinal problem.

The Real Madrid player complained of stomach pains while he was scaling a glacier at the national team's training base in the French Alps on earlier this week.

He then sat out training for two days before tests confirmed the problem.

"Following the intestinal problem he contracted on the glacier at Tignes, medical examinations discovered an unforeseen illness that necessitates rest for an indeterminate period," read a statement on the French FF's website.

"As a result, Lassana Diarra is out of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. For the moment, the staff have not called up another player."

Indeed! Diarra is one of the best midfielder. You reckon they will call Patrick Vieira as replacement? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Hey, we have another Spain fan! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wow.gif) Argentina is good too. All the best for Mascherano, Messi and Co. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)
