Fellas, the point is: My AmbiCom dongle suks !

So, let's elect the BEST DONGLE to buy in order to work with a BT MOBILE PHONE, such as k700i.

When I say the best, we must take into consideration the SOFTWARE compability (if works with the latest SW versions...)

This poll will also helps me to buy my new dongle ! :)

cheers

i use one from a dutch computershop, called MyCom but it works perfect w/my S700i/K700i/Nokia 6230. you could try www.mycom.nl to see if they ship to your country as well.

oh, and one thing: Don't trust TRUST. :1:

I thought this topic had been covered in another area of m9?

But seeing as im posting this,i may as well input.

I have a Belkin F8T003v2 and am using a k700i with the latest R2AA003 firmware.
Previously i had a Nokia 6600 which is known for its bt issues,i never had a problem with either phone using this dongle.

Heh. As long as they implement the Bluetooth standard, which they all do, they'll be ok. 99% of them are fine. It's pointless going for a long range one, as your phone won't be long range anyway:) Just get the cheapest or best looking one!

I use also a CELLINK BT-3100 DONGLE costs € 22,50 in the Vodafone Citypoint shop here in the Netherlands, works perfect WITHOUT the software delivered by the dongle just plug in the computer (Windows XP) after a view seconds it works fine with the Sony Ericsson K700i software, NO Cellink software needed. :10: :clap2:
