how to make like this (blue line)

so simple (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) , only modifying standard style PhotoShop:
1. Create your own transparent pic
2. Select your pic layer
3. Then click style palette, text effects,
4. And choose sprayed stencil
5. Click add layer button
6. Edit sprayed stencil style (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

Hey there!
I made a very long (around 40 steps) tutorial on how to make a background room like this one:

It's not too easy and it might take some of your time, but I tried to make it understandable for everyone. I hope it can help a few people and please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions... Oh, and please forgive me, but I don't know all the english words in photoshop...!

But first I will say what I succeed and then follow the questions.

For me are very clearly 8 steps in your tutorial. And after that I-m realy in fog.

You said like that: I'm not gonna explain you the next few steps in detail, 'cause it's pretty much the same as we already did. You will have to repeat steps 1 - 6 (without opening a new document of course).

Well until here all it-s clear for me. The question is this.
1. For the Floor need I to create again a background to paint it and so one? And, to appear that floor, need I to use Paint Bucket Tools? (I don-t know if I use correctly this question, but hope to understand me).
I saw in your layers a connection between they. To be more specific I saw a connection in layer 2. (see step 10)
Then after that in the 14 step i saw 2 pictures. The floor and the other ( let's say the wall) Why appear like that ? and why in the 23 step appear in the other way?
Then when I need to create that mask i don't underst to much. But this it's not your fault.
I don't underst that part at all. Is other way how you can do it without using this mask?


In the 32 step I make double click on that layer and nothing change. The layer remain as stone. And after that all remain in a fog. I try 2 times and was in vain. Hope to get the answer soon.

Okay, I was afraid that this wasn't clear enough...

First
1. After step 8 you create another layer and fill it with colour (yes, as you said, with the Paint Bucket). Then add the Crack 2 Pattern to it.
2. Create yet another layer and fill it with colour also. Add the Brick Pattern with Blend Mode "Multiply". Set the visability to 0% (as discribed in step 5).

Now you should be at step 9 / 10.

The connection in Layer 2 is a mistake from my side. It should not be there.

Second
It looks like I forgot something in step 13 or 14. After you merged the floor layer, you can activate the other layers again (click on the little eyes). Otherwise they are invisible and the wall is not gonna appear in the background. I guess that was your problem. Sorry!

Third
About the Layer Mask. Hmm.. it's hard to explain it like this, it works pretty much like an eraser with the difference that you can change it any time you want. If I have the time I'll make another tutorial just about that. For now you could actually also use the eraser. Choose a very big brush size with a soft border and just delete some parts of the upper floor and the upper wall layer and you should get a similar result.

Forth
If in step 32 nothing changes when you make a doubleclick you can just ignore that, it should be okay.
And in case that is not clear enough either:

1. After you merged the wall Layers duplicate that layer.
2. Deactivate the copy by clicking on the little eye and choose the lowest layer you got.
3. Go to the Brightness / Contrast Settings and make that Layer much darker.
4. Activate the copy again.
5. Now you can use the eraser instead of the Layer Mask to delete parts of the wall copy.

Okay, I hope I answered all your questions! If it's still unclear just ask again... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I don't use the mask and the eraser either because i don't understand it. and result it is

Hey, that's really not bad! It looks like a room and the colours fit also now... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif) So it looks like you learned how to merge different patterns and add a perspective to the floor, that's a very good start!

I think it' more of a tutorial for "advanced" PS users so you are doing very well (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

When I started I had to learn from tutorials about making web buttons until I understood enough to follow this kind of tut (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Nice, a blue wall! Just a quick tip: If you go to Gradients instead of the Colour Overlay (in the layer styles) and play around with the blending modes you can add several diffent colours to your image... If you're not tired of playing around with that yet...
