@ topy
1. difference in sound volume between part 1 and part 2 is too big. Highlight this first part: (IMG:http://i45.tinypic.com/2hp7ubn.jpg) and increase volume like this: (IMG:http://i50.tinypic.com/2aerwqr.jpg) also, i have noticed your ending. Its too short. Specially for the gallery - if tune goes round and round - sounds like its just cut of at the end. So i suggest you this: (IMG:http://i46.tinypic.com/fkb9ee.jpg) Thats just a tip for next mixes. End of mix will sound much better if you end like that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |

Tip of The Day (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lightbulb.gif)
Listen to the songs carefully before making the selection of the parts to be mixed to bring out what is unique in your creation. @ Jas yep they need to understand the fading out part (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif) thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/notworthy.gif) |

One Tip from My Side:
When you are mixing use good quality headphones...Why..??? coz if u use speakers u cannot spot the small noises in your remix...but if u use a good quality headphone you will easily spot those noises which will become huge tension for you after completing your mix. This is My personal experience in this week's RC with my mix |

Important Tip for mixing if You are not using headphones.
Optimize your room acoustics. This is the foundation of a good mix: Mixing great music in a room with poor acoustics is like trying to make a great dinner in a cockroach-infested kitchen. If your mixes sound great in your studio and not-so-great everywhere else, you definitely need an acoustics makeover. This post has been edited by 2afroze: Feb 8 2010, 07:13 AM |

I use Audacity / Audio Editor / Virtual DJ.
Virtual DJ If the mix wants some Great transitions/sfx effects I use it. Features: 1. Easy to Learn and understand the software. 2. Every One can use it so simple. *3. Provides record mode while mixing. As soon as you start mixing, enable automation recording. Sometimes you hear music better than you heard, and your emotional, initial reaction toward a song might be what the music wants. |

This is My personal experience in this week's RC with my mix Strongly agree here, before i mixed, i used my pc speakers only, and now i got full bass stereo headphones, it makes a hell of difference. @enna Great tips sis.... great job (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif) what about TC (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) TC is no longer available. What you can do in here to make mix (out of the contest) and take advices from others what should have to be fixed in it and learn that way (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif) We are thinking about Team Building. Maybe if there will be interested to join we make sth (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |

thanks Inju (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) but Team Building is only possible if partners work together on time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) but like jas said it can be done here one makes the mix for RC and we can work together to mix it better (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wow.gif) thanks Jas (IMG:style_emoticons/default/notworthy.gif) love the idea (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif) then friends wouldnt feel bad about fixing themselves (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wow.gif) |
