Sony Ericsson has actually made a rather good themes creator application to create themes for all their themesupportingphones, including P900.
They have just released a new version 1.19 http://www.sonyericsson.com/developer/site...3/p_news116.jsp You have to register to the developer site in order to download. ----------- Update - thats odd - the new version 1.19 dont seem to support the P900, but my old version 1.14 does ??? now Im confused ----------------- Anyways - heres another link to the 1.14 version that does support P900: http://www.serversgroup.com/staffan/Theme_creator_tool.zip This post has been edited by Spawn: Dec 29 2003, 07:43 PM |

Save some time when makeing theme for P900:
1. Put all pictures in one place, one folder, for example, if you makeing "mobile9" theme, open folder "Mobile9 theme" and inside open new folder with name "pictures", in this folder insert all pictures (and more) that you'll use in theme. 2. You already have to decide how your theme will looks. 3. You have to open ALL folders on your desktop where everything is for makeing theme for P900. 4. Your P900 have to be connected ALL THE TIME to ypur comp, that you can see how the themes look like on phone. 5. The BIGEST HELP of all is this: open folder of your preveious theme, so you can see what is next you have to do, always use copy paste of files that you use again and dont make BIGEST mestake of looseing time ::: don't even think to close your bmconv.exe before you finished your theme, and dont jump from one .mbm fole to another before you finished the one you started! This are my small tips, if you listen to this, you will save lets say at least 30 min. Hope I helped. :haha: |

bumping this up because there is a dicussion on sizes of themes.
to keep the thm size small you must: save ALL images as "save image for web" doing this should bring your thm size bet 30-50kb |
