vin, esp. after you resize. use the unsharpen filter. you'll see the dramatic improvement

i think crop is ok. if u specify the dimension of the bounding bow (in pixal), it's actually resizing to the 128x160 format.

but ultimately, u should still unsharp mask the thing. the bigger the original image as relation to your final framed image, the higher your unsharp mask should good... i might be wrong. correct me if i am.

but eventually it still depends on your eyes. i would zoom the final image to 200% and sit back to judge. if it looks fine, chances are it would be too on the phone. that's my rule-of-thumb. if u zoom too big, u'll never get satisfy.

and save to web as jpeg. (make full use of the 65k colors)

Would just like to correct daedos59's specs, the popup-highlight must be 113px x 16px not 118px x 16px as stated in his post. :)

dun worry..... if it's not the correct size, themecreator won't let u attached. when that happens..... go outside, take a fag, think of all those more unfortunate ppl caught in civil unrest, & go back to photoshop to re-crop.

sometimes.... just sometimes.... shit happens

hey guys,

how come when I resize things in photoshop, it sometimes makes the image just a little smaller than the canvas on the bottom - I mean when you resize sometimes you can see the "checkerboard" canvas down the bottom of the image, it drives me nuts!

@warren: you need an image editing application, a bmconv.exe, and a notepad. There are some tutorials in which you can try:
