Finally fixed the issue, added the missing dependency file. You still need to manually add the other files though. Click on the link below to download the installer:

Surfer BETA Installer

And then download the SurferData zip file,

3. Required Data Folder for Installer Only (1 Kb)

Then extract the Reg.txt and DATA folder from the surferdata zip file into the same directory as shown below after you have installed it again:

Hope this works, really want to deliver this to you guys.

Edit: Confirmed working!

@Azure Would it be possible for you to create thread which lists the features / bugs / fixes etc for each and current versions?

It would help with bug reporting etc...

I was planning on creating one in the software subforum, just don't know why I didn't proceed.

So yeah I'll create a thread if that helps.

That will happen only if you misplaced the data files I previously mentioned. That is why I've compiled a stable build that generates the files for you. Download that one and it should work fine.

@ ssivic - Start fooling around, you know I'm more than willing to listen :P

i downloaded the stable build, but the .exe file won't install the surfer. so i downloaded the reg.txt file in the earlier post and followed your instructions, but the surfer wont start
EDIT:i just deleted the reg.txt file, and suddenly the surfer started working just fine.

why are there pop-ups of tribal fusion? or is it a problem with my internet explorer?

Answered them all.

@Boxie - glad it worked out for you. Regarding the pop ups, they are acquired from Internet Explorer and sadly cannot be stopped without 3rd party software intervention.

A career? that won't do as I'll be deviating from my planned course in life, medicine. Think of it as a hobby just like photoshop and video editing. :)
