Hi there, recently bought a k800i and had already spend some time exploring the function of the phone. However, i notice that every time i talk to my gf through the phone, after 1hour and 30 minutes the phone will by itself cut off. From what i know the phone talktime seem more than that? Can anyone advise me on how to extend the duration of the talktime instead of just 1hour and 30 minutes? Thanks

Is your battery flat at that time?

Usually by manufacture default they have on the 3G Network option.
This is a battery eater. So if you don’t use the 3G Network, just close it
You will find it at Menu/Settings/Connectivity/Mobile Networks/GSM-3G Networks
Choose "GSM only"
If you don’t see any difference then your battery has problem and you must change it
it’s in warranty, isn’t it?

hmmmm, i don think battery is the issue since my battery display still showing something like 50%-60% life long to make another call. As for Atalantos suggestion, i think i had already off that 3G things long ago. The problem is when every time my call reach 1:30:00 it will automatically cut off itself and i had to make the effort for another call to my gf.

Might just be a safety feature. I can't imagine many people being on the phone for an hour and a half so it would be hard to compare with anyone else.

Can your talk time be configured? Maybe it's in your settings.

I have a plan, free incoming calls, 100mins outgoing and 500 free SMS. So it won't cost that much...
