N73 Fonts, CHANGE OF N73 DEFAULT FONTS Options

I would like to know if there is a possibility or better a SW to change my new NOKIA N73 fonts (contacts, agenda, other) because they are not easily readable.

WARNING!!!
1. Read all before procedure

SOLUTION!!!
1. Symbian 9.1 supports and uses TTF and Openface TTF fonts!
2. Make folder on mem card as follows: [mem-card]:Resource/Fonts
3. Pick TTF font and rename apropriate files as described below
4. Copy these to newly created folder
5. You can use any TTF in this purpose
6. Recomended is usage of hi-quality fonts which support full range of code pages
7. Original fonts are stored in Z: drive
8. Fonts:
nosnr60.ttf = Nokia Sans S60 Regular
nssb60.ttf = Nokia Sans S60 SemiBold
nstsb60.ttf = Nokia Sans S60 TitleSmBd S60

Another one exists but not important:

S60ZDIGI.ttf = Series 60 ZDigi / this one is just LCD digits 0-9 plus .:,;*?
9. Reboot phone
10. Enjoy!!!!!!!

1. Use card reader to acces your memory card
2. Remove files
3. Put your card back to phone
4. Reboot phone

guys, would you mind to post where i can download the original font files? like nosnr60.ttf, nssb60.ttf and nstsb60.ttf? is there any website where i can have them because my current fonts are really not that good..

THANKS ALOT ECHOZULU.. im pretty sure alot of guys like me are searching google for this! and u posted it here.. but i have a slight problem, font remover is not working on s60 3rd edition phones like my n73.. is there any way that i can overwrite the z:\resource\fonts? it seems the folder is ROM or write protected? i access that folder using y-browser by yucca software..

is there somebody out there who knows any way how to do it?

No prob :)

You can't delete any files in the z: directory as they are system files that S60 3rd does not allow access to. Why would you want to delete them? Let me know what you're trying to do and I may be able to help. :good:

i have tried the instructions of mr g but it doesnt work on my n73? is there any simpler way to do it? it didnt work for me.. pls help coz i really want to change my fonts.. thanks

My problem is that i use y-browser but i cannot create a Fonts folder on e:\Resource .. is it possible to make a folder on e:\Resource because i do not have a memory card reader? is there any way to do it? thanks..

You need a card reader mate,they aint that exspensive.

hi can any one help me plz i have created wat ur been mentioning [memcard]:resource/fonts and copy the fonts and change the name but it wont work ive used the data cable that i have that was free at the box and used card reader.. the fonts was that of mr g uplinked :surrender:

It never seems to work for me either mate,it depends on the firmware i think!
