this is the same wallpaper I complained about a few months ago. only this time it has the addition of a seam, and it's been posted by HAZOR. Who looks like he copied it from the first guy who posted it, HungNc.

and what's up with allowing all these topless photos? I thought this site was watched more carefully than this. Again, young kids have no business seeing, much less being able, to download this crap.

I'm not a prude by any means. I just find this content totally inappropriate for this site, as it is accessed by kids too young to have any business getting this type of material. This is the kind of stuff you could make available thru a premium subscription. There ya go! Make some more money for mobile9, and get this stuff where it should be. Adult content aren't being validated to the gallery at the moment.

We are working to clean the gallery too, but this will take sometime as it will need to do one by one.

It's my understanding it was never allowed. And at least 2 of these were posted within the last couple days. Yellow Trousers and the smurf one are still listed as new. Went up on the 13th. After your new policy, if you say it's been a few days. Only took me 40mins to find the ones I listed. How much harder is it for those of you employed by mobile9? And to delete them at the same time?

I had a hard time understanding your English, but I think I got the gist. Lets see if you can fully understand this, since apparently you didn't bother to read my intial post fully.
I object to these wallpapers because young kids access this site. They do not need to see, or be able to download these types of wallpapers. It is against the law for children under the age of 18 to purchase, or obtain, pictures containing nudity. It's not hard to find them when you are looking for wallpapers. I did not set out that evening to chase down every topless or bottomless picture I could find. I was looking for stuff for my own phone when I came across them. As a mother, I object to them soley on the basis as being inappropriate material for minors. My own views on what is deemed pornographic material is liberal. If it's being viewed or used by adults, I have no problem. I've certainly seen my share of x-rated movies!
I could care less if adults are looking and downloading the papers in question. But because mobile9 has no controls to stop children from downloading them, they need to be taken down. So yes, my "censorship" is valid. Would you like to see mobile9 done away with all together just because you boys can't get your titty fix? Websites have been taken down for less.
As far as my avatar goes, that's my business. It's not a picture up for downloading. And I sincerely doubt many kids ever see it. If mobile9 administrators ever asked me to change it, I would do so. I don't see it as being hypocritical in any way. If you had bothered to really read and understand my initial post, you would know my objections were based on these being available to minors. Nothing else.

I fully understand and respect your opinion.

But I personally think, it is really not necessary to delete themes for a mobile phone because they contain a small amount of nudity.
The screen size of a phone is at 176x220px (at least my SE). Thats nothing special.
Kids UNDER the age of 18 can buy magazines like BRAVO, that are not considered something bad. And they can see photos of naked people in these Magazines full size 210x297 cm!
And that is just the naked person, without bars and grafical work around it!!

Dont get me wrong, I think it is okay, that themes are deleted when they consist of nothing else then a picture of two t.its.
But I dont want my themes to get deleted because they may contain some nudity. I always have the intention to do a piece of art if I theme. And for me it doesnt matter if a kid aged 13 or 14 sees that when browsing this gallery. He may already had sex by this age today! So why should I bother uploading a small picture?

I agree with Crystal :clap2: :clap2: kids who watch tv see nudity even during the commercials..when i was at school we had naked statues in the corridors..if adult themes have an 18 plus warning..i don't see the problem :blink: if a kid is old and wise enough to download a theme from M9..then they are probably old enough to go on XRated sites..just because it says... if you are not 18 leave..does not mean they will..it might be up to the parents to monitor their kids on the internet..i don't think it's right that people who want adult themes can't have them :) :grouphug: :byebye:

With this being my first post I reckon some of you will dismiss whatever I say. We all started at our first post so my opinion should be just as valid as any long term member.

While I do agree that adult content should be kept out of Mobile9 I do think removing every image containing a bit of nudity is slightly over the top.
Kids can see tits simply by opening to Page 3 in the daily newspaper. They don't need to go online to look for their fix of nudity.

If it's way too much (for example showing sexual poses, private parts etc etc) then yes, it should be removed but showing a tit or 2 is nothing compared to other stuff available out there.

Kids have matured since 10 years ago. Seeing a nipple on Mobile9 will not be the first time they've seen it.

I say let mild nudity through the filters. If they can see it on Page 3 (for those of you not familiar with Page 3; it's a feature run daily in The Sun Newspaper in Britain where women pose half naked) then there's no harm in letting them see it here.

unfortunately, if is decided that no nudity is allowed, then it is black and white. there is no gray area. although readly available internet-wide, m9 will not condone any nudity.

mobile9 prides itself in a broad and diversified reach, that includes a 12 year old girl googling " mobile themes". from an ethical standpoint, its just not proper to expose young minds to nudity unnecessarily. some are liberal with nudity, but the internet is such that it is global. what one considers as "whats the big deal with a little nipple?" may be obscene to another.

with that said, there is a difference between nudity and sexy. in validating "sexy", personal disgresion is exercised in determining what is deemed to be tasteful or obscene. if there is a theme/wallpaper that a user feels is objectionable, please provide a link and it will be re-evaluated.
