Have you double checked to make sure the version you've downloaded supports your phone? One other thing for sure is to make sure the pc suite is up and running before you ever connect your phone for the first time. Doing it any other way can build bad drivers in which case you'd have to go in and remove them manually.

I've downloaded the pc suit from the Nokia site-3230 which is my phone. The pc suit is running in the sense that all the files are coming on to the pc suit menu but unable to transfer coz the problem is its not getting connected. I ve unstalled and reinstalled again several times(7-8 times) but having the same problem.

Check this out on how to completely remove PC Suite...
http://discussions.nokia.co.uk/discussions...&message.id=908

But if you have never get PC Suite to work, not even the first time, it won't help.

Give it a try though. It solves all my problems.
