I have a badly problem. I have a I-mate SP3i, and it has worked great, untill now. Couse when I have installed an app it says: "failure, missing dll-file", and then the phones screen become white, and I have to remove the battery to make the phone functional again.

Do somebody know what to do?

And yes, I have had alots of apps on it before, including them I have tryed now... :(

can you actually boot the phone up?
if you can try uninstalling the application causing the problem.
if not:
try a hard reset.

hold down both the softkeys, and switch it on (still holding it down)
you will get a screen promting to press 0 to do a hard reset. you need to time it right and press 0 before the screen disappears.

then just follow the instructions.

WARNING!!!
this will remove everything on your phone

if you did a manual reset, there shouldn't be any problems as it sets it to factory settings.

if you reseted it correctly, then the problem maybe a virus? or even firmware problems, or hardware.

The store just called me and told that they had tracked a "trojan" to Beta player.

Does this mean that it´s dangerous to use beta player? if so, it´s bad couse it´s the best video app ever!

well you should only use certified apps on your phone.
it is a smartphone after all.
you risk your security by installing untrsuted applications.

i don't use betaplayer.

I´ve contact them, and now I got an answer from them: "we don´t take any responeble for the trojan that have attacked your cellphone. Our recomendation is that you buy some kind of firewall or antivirus software".
That didn´t give me any answers :wallbash:, so where do I find a firewall, or something like that
:)
