okee dokee well here's my sub :) hope this works, it's not a photograph, it's retro artsy, and i chose a classic 60's-70's icon. i kept it simple and neat ;)

@scuby : IMHO, your 1st highlight (123px) would be better if it's a solid-bar rather than a slice of the menu. that would make it cleaner. @august : that soundslike a lotsa work. :clap: for the effort. (:cop: on his round?) |

I guess the criteria that makes each entry hard to make is the "No photographs" allowed.
This means, we can't use images/pictures of "real" things right? :cry: |

@very, i think i see scubs intention. the slice of highlight bar makes the menu picture "whole" on the phone.
when you get into the phone menu. where would the highlight bar be? on the first item on the menu. with that slice he has, the menu looks like a whole wallpaper (until you move the highlight down). the problem is, the preview screencap does not look too good because it is down on the third item on the menu. |

exactly august :) when it's on the phone it does come out as a "whole" which makes it look really clean and clear especially when the menu image is alil blurred ;) @very i do very much agree with you though. it does look cluttered and i'll probably change it for the comp then change it back for when it's on my phone. we'll see :) thanks for the heads-up though, i didn't even think of that :) good lookin' out :grouphug: |
