(IMG:http://www.movienewz.com/img/films/shutter-island_p1.jpg) I saw this and I knew what to expect going in to the film as I had already read about half of the book but never got the chance to finish it. But I was surprised at how faithful the film was to the original material.The directing was also masterfully done and pretty cool I saw some cool camera tricks I hadn't seen since Martin Scorsese directed Bringing Out The Dead, Martin Scorsese did one great job and everyone was top notch especially Ben Kingsley and DiCaprio and I never though I would jump out of fright especially in a Scorsese film but I did. All in all a solid thriller with a good story and some great performances and for me it's the best film I've seen in 2010 so far. politically_incorrect204 |

It's probably one of the masterpieces not only in story telling and in the performances dealt by leo and ben kingsley. They showed that a thriller can be made using super storytelling, fantastic action and really good cinematography...what happens when leo ultimately realizes reality....is really really shocking from a viewers perspective since throughout the movie, its hard to guess who is the bad guy or the villan....amazing in every respect and does make your hair stand on it's end again and again

yaa. . .it's one of the best film i've ever seen. my fav actor is leonardo dicaprio. he truly amazed me in this film. anyone who likes dicaprio be my friends. thanks for sharing it. . .
