so i c there r somethings to be cleared out here.....

about the "theme including the tone".... it can be done in .sis files too...... my personal opinion is that the themer shouldn't include the tone in the theme because a request is a theme that is asked from one person, but can be used by everybody..... i personally prefer to use a specific tone in my phone regardless the theme. in .sis files (s60 themes) there is a possibility when installing the theme to add the included ring or not so it's really not a problem. the problem is that this way we make this .sis file very big.
anyway... i guess that including the ring or not should be left up to themers choice.... (i persoanlly will probably upload two themes. one with the ring and a simple one..... but i want to suggest something.... when the ring will be included the name of the ring file should mention the creator's name (and the id tag too). i will credit it in my preview, but when a theme is installed all what's left is the theme's name.... something else..... here in LOT we don't have a time restriction on fullfilling a request..... but i hope that everybody understands that if the themer finishes the theme soon and the tone is not ready yet, the tone can't be added in the theme. so what happens?
the themer waits for the tone before the upload? we leave it up to the person who requested? and if the person who requested wants the theme as soon as it's ready will it be uploaded?

i also don't know if we should ask the person who requested the them if he/she desires a ring to follow the theme before we procced, or we just provide it as a courtesy of LOT and MOS....

now to shaon's questions....
1. agree with derber..... nothing is an obligation... we can ask, but it depends on MOS member if they fullfill "our" request... i use "" because it's not really ours but it follows the requested theme...
2. giving credit is the kindest thing. it's recognition of our work. (that's why i don't want the rings to be included in the theme, unless the theme maker and ring maker have agreed to do so...)
3. no comment... LOT is LOT and MOS is MOS (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
4. i think it's up to MOS how they r going to handle it.... all we need is a link to the relevant to our theme ring....
5. @MOS..... u know that every rule has an exception....... u could have an exception there..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) it's not up to us, but it's up to u.... on the other hand MOS members hadn't the opportunity till now to fullfill requests here, so techically there is no problem. the only thing is that there r great themers in MOS who could perform theme requests. adding their name in the list is not a membership in LOT imho..... but we won't have the same discussion again.... it's your rules, your way to have a specific exception or not, your way to handle it..... Well, Now I think I've some more question.. If you people are opening another thread than what we'll do in ours..??
Who will make a theme and who'll make the tone this matter is not totally clear to me..
If we make the theme, this will be our work to add the tone.. And the request will be done in another thread...
So ours will be abandon soon.. I think if it happen, that's a bad idea for me...
As Alex bro said that listing name there will not make you a member of ours..
That just to let the person know who's gonna make his/her request..

Second, when you receive the request, you'll inform us via our thread. Then we'll start immediately
making it.

Third we have no prob to include OUR name to your creation!! This is only for our fun (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

In conclusion....Nothing will change from your side! Your "duty" is to inform us about the ringy you want.
All the others is for us (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Everything you want let me know (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
