anyone here played Shift yet? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

i just got it 2 days ago, and strangely enough, the movies lag even on my 4 GB RAM, 2GHz machine. the lag isn't much during normal gameplay.
but then again, the gameplay doesn't seem to be much fun either.

i am still trying to figure out which button changes the camera view, so maybe it will be more fun once i get back to normal racing view, right behind the car, instead of inside it.

what i am also trying to figure out, is why NFS is shift-ing to simulation rather than Arcade, where it really excelled (remember NFS 2? Most Wanted?) Didn't they learn anything from the ProStreet fiasco?

well, i won;t judge it too much since i haven;t played it much (only spent 20 minutes on it)
will be able to rate it only after i spend some more time on it, right after my exams

what about ya'll?

I am playing NFS shift on 1440x900 resolution @ 8X AA 16X AF and All other settings maxed out(Vsync OFF). There is no lag anywhere. I think Vsync may be turned ON for you, Just off it.
To change your controls-
Go to Options>>Gameplay>>Controls and select preset 4. This preset is for mouse and keyboard. Then you can use F to change camera. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Yes BB It's not like Mostwanted or carbon. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
But EA has improved their graphics a lot. NFS shift is like GRID.

Looking forward to this, simulation racing with arcade action and control. This should be really awesome! Put on "To Buy" list!

lol (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
I think for tier 4 cars, outside view will be most preferable and easier.

Can you say
What processor are you using (Intel P4 or Core 2 series) ?
What is your VGA series (Intel, Nvidia or ATI) ?

Anyway you can check with "Can You Run it". Click here .

Probably a stupid question, but how do you exit the game? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wallbash.gif) I tried ESC but doesn't work ...

When u r playing you can press ESC to open the menu as other games. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
When you are at the menu press down arrow key then it will show the quit. When you are in a sub menu you have to press Esc, So that it will return to main menu. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

If you can't still find use ALT+F4 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
