Here is a tutorial of colouring / highlighting the background. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) 1. Select the image layer and place it above the basic layer. 2. Select the image layer. Check whether the image is rasterized. If already rasterized leave it and you can edit the colour settings. If not, right click the layer and rasterize. (IMG:http://i46.tinypic.com/28lgbqu.jpg) 3. Now to change the colours and give highlights, click image --> adjustments --> Levels Give the values as given!!Above 5 will give darkness and in the below box choose 240, it will reduce the brightness shades and will give accurate dark shades! 4. If you don't need this you can skip this! I used this to give some dark shades only! 5. Now again Press --> image --> adjustments --> colour balance (IMG:http://i50.tinypic.com/141348w.jpg) 6. Use the values to get this colours! (IMG:http://i46.tinypic.com/kbr5lc.jpg) 7. Use the pen tool to select the areas to give highlights. (IMG:http://i48.tinypic.com/2liebo6.jpg) 8. After selecting the areas right click and give the value to 30 -60 according to your wish...I used 40. 9. Then press image --> adjustments --> Hue / Saturation and you will find some useful colour combinations.. I have given the values for the desired results! (IMG:http://i48.tinypic.com/1zdufk9.jpg) (IMG:http://i45.tinypic.com/153qu7o.jpg) 10. To give white light reflection, press image --> adjustments --> Hue / Saturation use only Lightness to get desired effects!! (IMG:http://i47.tinypic.com/b5m88p.jpg) That's it! We can change any background/images to any colours and highlight some areas using these tools!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) very nice... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/notworthy.gif) |

HOW TO CREATE SATIN/SILK CLOTH EFFECT FROM SCRATCH (IMG:http://i1199.photobucket.com/albums/aa472/mohamedali05/SATINETXTURE_zpsb058f826.png) First create a new file ( Ctrl+N) , make it any size u want , then select Gradient tool (1) and keep basic gradient , black and white (2) then make blending mode to Difference . (IMG:http://i1199.photobucket.com/albums/aa472/mohamedali05/1_zpseb91bb77.png) Now draw gradient randomly , drage from all corners untill u get something u like . (IMG:http://i1199.photobucket.com/albums/aa472/mohamedali05/2_zpscc45fc50.png) Go to Filter / blur /Gaussian blur ( 1.7 will be just fine) (IMG:http://i1199.photobucket.com/albums/aa472/mohamedali05/4_zps88d14498.png) Now , go to Filter / stylize / Find edges (IMG:http://i1199.photobucket.com/albums/aa472/mohamedali05/5_zps1a538a37.png) Go to Image / Adjustements / Levels ( or simply Ctrl+ L ) , the values in preview are fine (IMG:http://i1199.photobucket.com/albums/aa472/mohamedali05/6_zpsa9c1d018.png) Finally create a new layer , choose any color u like , use Paint Bucket tool or simply Alt+Backspace and fill the new layer ,then change the blending mode to Linear Burn . you should get something like this : (IMG:http://i1199.photobucket.com/albums/aa472/mohamedali05/7_zps9bcdaa6c.png) |
